Lapua Introduces 3rd Generation Naturalis

Lapua has taken their time-proven Naturalis design, and refined it to the next level. They have enhanced the long range performance by streamlining the newer designs for better aerodynamics, and by extending the velocities over which the bullets will reliably expand. The mushrooming of the bullet starts immediately on impact. Hunters will be happy to note that the expansion process is started by a polymer valve at the tip of the bullet, leading the bullet to expand symmetrically and without fragmentation.

In the redesigned versions, Lapua has successfully lowered the velocity threshold for consistent expansion by roughly 100 FPS, meaning more reliable performance at greater ranges than ever before. And all this with the typical weight retention of nearly 100 percent of the bullet’s unfired weight. This gives you longer range, and confidence in your bullet’s performance, perfect for competitive shooters. Naturalis bullets are lead-free.
