Team SIG member and 3-gun competitor Lena Miculek earned multiple top finishes during the first ever International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC) Rifle World Shoot. Conducted at Moscow's Patriot Park in Kubinka, the IPSC Rifle World Shoot had 591 competitors from 40 nations compete in 30 grueling stages. The match is the highest-level rifle match within IPSC.

Using a SIGM400 Predator and SIG Elite Performance ammo, Lena reached her goal of placing in the top 20 overall in the world, beating out many of the world's finest competitors, including her own father, the legendary Jerry Miculek.

"For the action shooting sports community, this is our Olympics," said Lena. "I was lucky to make the Ladies Open Team alongside Ashley Rheuark, Maggie Reese and my mother Kay Miculek. Through crazy weather and intense competition, the Ladies Open Team came out on top!"

After a week of competition, the Louisiana native returned home with a pair of first place trophies and five gold medals. Additionally, Miculek battled through illness to win individual titles, including the Ladies Open shoot off and first place in the Ladies Open division.

"It was an incredible experience to represent the United States at the IPSC Rifle World Shoot," Lena commented about the match. "Competing against the world's finest shooters was very humbling. Standing on the podium and hearing our National Anthem play was an experience beyond words."
