Dave Sevigny has won again, this time at the 2017 USPSA Alabama Section Championship in Midland, AL. Competing in the Production Division against 44 competitors, Sevigny won nine of the 10 stages, earning a 185-point margin over the second place finisher. The Team FN shooter was using his FNS-9 Longslide pistol at the match.

Nearly 200 competitors were in attendance at the Alabama Section Championship. The match, requiring 250 rounds per competitor, was conducted over 10 stages of field courses and speed shoots ranging from 8 to 30 rounds fired at stationary and moving targets.

"The courses of fire are fast paced at this match and the FNS-9 Longslide was all I needed to contend for the win," said Sevigny. "The FNS is a strong pistol that can stand up to everything I put it through in practice and on match day."

It was Sevigny's fifth all-time win at this match—and his Production Division winning score was tops among all Iron Sight Divisions combined.
